Here we are in Vlissingen! This is a beautiful spot at the southwestern tip of The Netherlands. When we were planning our trip, Greg went back and forth on deciding if we should stop here. It wasn't really along the way of any of our travels, but I'm really glad we went.

It's a beautiful port city with a lovely boardwalk. We walked through the harbor and the charming town next to it. It was lightly raining so there weren't many people out. It was my first time seeing a Dutch town and I fell quickly in love! The tall little houses and all the details. There were so many flowers and ways to store bikes. On these stairs (in the photo above) there is a groove in the cement on the side, so that you can easily walk your bike up the stairs.

We found the church where Greg served and it was really exciting to see a sign that said "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints." Of course I made Greg pose in front of it. :)
